Yes, we live in a beautiful rural community, have pitcheresque mountain views, can see our neighbours off in the distance and not many of us would give this up for anything. But, living here has it's drawbacks and one of them is the non-existant availablility of high-speed internet access! Not all is lost as there are other options available now aside from Telus or Shaw...but are we willing to pay the price?

A member from our community has been in communications with Telus for sometime now and although we likely won't be seeing ADSL anytime soon, she has started to stir the pot a bit. Be sure to read the section Telus Talks to read about her progress.
